Lately it seems like everyone and their brother and their brother's best friend's cousin's mother's second cousin twice removed is opening a photography business.
This is why I didn't want to get into photography or open a business..or whatever this is.
And then I realized that is an illogical way of looking at it.
I have loved taking pictures since I was fourteen.
I haven't always had the best equipment.
It wasn't until Spring of 2011 that I realized I was happiest when I was taking pictures.
It wasn't until my Aunt Mare gave me her Nikon D40 last November that I realized taking pictures is something I could do for the rest of my life.
I realize it's a very competitive industry.
And a lot of it is editing.
But I am willing to learn
Because I have done so many jobs that just aren't right for me-
(Daycare, theaters, hostessing, nannying, etc.)
I've made good money doing some of those things.
And I know now that it is so much more important to do what you love and what you are passionate about than it is to have a lot of money.
If you aren't doing what you love I encourage you to find something that you do love.
Life is short and it is important to make every moment count.

And now: when I've realized it's something that I can't really live without.
