Dear Nephew

Dear Nephew,

You were born today and the minute I saw your face I loved you. The minute I held you in my arms I longed to protect you from the world- for it is scary and painful sometimes.

I want to protect you from pain and hurt but I know I won't be able to.. Just know that your Aunt Noelle will always, always have your back!

In ways I know you will always have mine too already. You have brought light and new beginnings to our family. You are a true blessing.

I love you so much,
Auntie Noelle

Changes In the Business

I have some great news everyone! For those of you who don't know, this spring semester I am taking some business classes and really learning about how to run a business and how I am also continuing to educate myself on photography-only now a bit more intensely. I'm really running down to the wire. I'm at a fork in the road where I can either choose to keep photography as my hobby or pursue it with all of my heart.

I've decided to stop living passively and pursue my passion with all of my heart. Starting some time this month I will be getting a new computer, new editing software, and possibly new photography equipment. I will be doing what it takes to become official as a business.

I just want to thank everyone that has been a part of the portfolio I have been building. I have my clients to thank for most of my lessons I have learned about running a photography business.

Stay tuned!

January 2015: Favorite Photos

Since it's a new year I've decided to really try to start taking more care in posting my personal pictures as well as my professional. Here are some of my favorite pictures from my birthday month so far. :)

Frost in the morning gleaming.

 Bright eyed, sisters beaming.
  Ice covered, frozen lake.
Red barns in the distance as I drive.
 Sparkly, snow covered pines

A fuzzy white horse staring me down.

Last but not least, one of my old friends from high school got married and I helped photograph the wedding. Congrats Emily & Brandon!
